In 1935, with a little help from mom, the Blake Brothers opened a single ice cream shoppe named “Friendly”. Prestly and Curtis sold double dipped cones for a nickel. And it quickly became a place for families to make memories while enjoying handcrafted ice cream.
That special Friendly’s® fun would soon spread. By 1946, delivery trucks were bringing delicious scoops of joy to a growing legion of fans. In 1950, they were the 1st to introduce pre-packaged half gallons in stores. Soon after, treats like The Banana Cabana and The Fribble® would make Friendly’s® famous for fun.
