5-Year-Old Olivia Toomey Wins a Year's Supply of Free Friendly's Ice Cream

WILBRAHAM, Mass.; June 2, 2009 - Friendly's, a full-service family dining chain of more than 500 restaurants, today announced that  Olivia Toomey of Colchester, Vermont is one of the winners in The Friendly's Factory Takeover Sweepstakes. Toomey will receive free Friendly's ice cream for a full year.
Toomey entered The Friendly's Factory Takeover Sweepstakes that began with the kick-off of Sprinkle-Vision earlier this year and continues through December 31, 2009. Kids can go to any Friendly's restaurant to search for secret codes hidden throughout the stores. Each kid will receive a pair of Sprinkle-Vision glasses or monocles with red lenses that will allow them to view the codes. Kids can enter the codes online at www.IWannaGoToFriendlys.com to win fantastic prizes and try their luck at taking over the Friendly's virtual ice cream factory. The lucky grand-prize winner will get the chance to participate in the next Friendly's kids commercial, and will receive free ice cream for a year. Three prize winners will receive a grand tour of the real Friendly's ice cream factory, and 27 winners will win free ice cream for a year.
