New Restaurant Serves Delicious Burgers, Melts and Ice Cream Creations
WILBRAHAM, Mass. (February 12, 2008) - Friendly's Restaurants celebrates the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Hicksville, New York located at the Delco Plaza on South Broadway. The restaurant opened on Monday, February 11, 2008. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday day through Thursday, 8 a.m. to midnight Friday, 7 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday.
The restaurant is owned by J&B Restaurant Partners of Long Island, LLC of Ronkonkoma, New York. Greg Alagna, Senior Exectutive Director of Operations says, "We invite everyone in the area to come and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day and share some great food and ice cream with family or friends. We have some great new items including, the new Fisherman's Basket and Fishamajig SuperMelt and an All You Can Eat Shrimp Basket. And guests can also top off their meal with a sundae from the mouth-watering ice cream menu, which includes the new O'Fribble Shake and Mint O'Cookie Crunch Sundae.
The restaurant employs approximately 91 full and part-time people. Alex Hangan is the General Manager of the new restaurant and has eight years in the restaurant industry with the last three spent at Friendly's.
