New Restaurant Serves Delicious Burgers, Melts and Ice Cream Creations
WILBRAHAM, MA (June 26, 2007) -- Friendly's Restaurants celebrates the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Newton, New Jersey located on Route 206 at the Sussex County Mall. The restaurant opened on Monday, June18, 2007. The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. seven days a week.
The restaurant is owned by Frankly Foods, LLC of Lafayette New Jersey. Frank Negri, Owner, says, "This is the first Friendly's in Sussex County. We look forward to serving some great food and ice cream to the people in the area. We also look forward to becoming involved in the community and have already been involved in a fundraiser for the Hampton Fire Department raising over one thousand dollars."
Guests at the Newton Friendly's can enjoy some old-time Friendly's favorites like Big Beef Burgers or Fribble's or try the new Southwest Chipotle Chicken Strips Basket. Guests can also top off their meal with a sundae from the mouth-watering ice cream menu, which includes the delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Sundae or the new Forbidden Fudge Brownie Sundae.
The restaurant employs approximately ten full and 75 part-time people. David Rike and Frank Negri II, the General Managers of the new restaurant, have over 15 years combined in the restaurant industry.
James Sullivan, vice president, franchising, for Friendly's Restaurants said, "Frank has years of operations experience and has a great passion for the Friendly's brand. His understanding of the brand's heritage is a great fit for Friendly's and will be reflected in the way the restaurant operates."
Negri plans two more restaurants in Sparta and Franklin in the next two years.
