Wilbraham, MA (November 3, 2005) - Beginning November 7, 2005, the residents of Blasdell will have a new neighbor - a new Friendly's restaurant, located at 3540 McKinley Parkway.

Dennis and Laurence Kessler of Kessler Family, LLC will own and operate the restaurant. They also own and operate 42 other Friendly's restaurants. Scott McGrath, a 10-year veteran of the restaurant business will manage the Blasdell restaurant.

"This is an exciting year for Friendly's as we celebrate our 70thanniversary. The opening of this restaurant adds to that excitement and we knowthe Kesslers, our largest franchisee, will operate a great restaurant in Blasdell," said Pete Bell, Senior Director Brand Marketing.

Laurence Kessler said, "We are excited to have a presence in the area.Some of our guests may remember the old Friendly's in Hamburg on SouthPark Avenue. We are looking forward to again serving the great food and ice creamthat our guests remember and to creating some new memories for the guests inthis area."

For a limited time, guests at the Blasdell, NY Friendly's can enjoy someextra special treats: a free Happy Ending Sundae with the purchase of any ofour Comforts of Home entrees, including our new Southwest BBQ Steak and GrilledTeriyaki Chicken. Guests can also indulge on the featured ice cream flavor - MintMud Slide.

The 198-seat restaurant will be open 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. every day. The restaurantwill employ 100 full and part time people.
